Movies With a Social Conscience

Holy Family’s Movies With A Social Conscious discussion series continues Tuesday, March 28th at 7 PM via Zoom. The movie is “Fences” and can be viewed ahead of time on a number of streaming services or through your local library. This award winning movie explores racism and other topics in 1950’s Pittsburgh, as seen through one family’s experiences. Please contact Fr. Bruce for the Zoom link. bgray@hfec.org

In 2022, members of Holy Family met monthly for a discussion that focused on movies with strong social justice themes. Participants viewed the month’s designated movie on their own and then came together from 7-8 PM via Zoom with others from Holy Family for a discussion of the themes and topics raised by the film.
