Scout Sunday 2017

The Boy Scouts of America designates the Sunday that falls before February 8th (Scouting Anniversary Day) as Scout Sunday, which is the primary date to recognize the contributions of young people and adults to Scouting.
On February 5th, visiting clergy The Reverend Kate Wilson blessed all scouts and scouters in attendance including those from Troop 199 which is chartered at Holy Family. Reverend Kate’s homily also made connections between the day’s Gospel reading and scouting.
Boy scouts in attendance led the reading of the Psalm and carried to the gifts at Communion. For more information about scouting at Holy Family, please contact the church office.

Coffeehouse Talent Show 2017

On Saturday, February 4th, members of the Holy Family Youth Group hosted their first Coffeehouse Talent Show.
Visitors were treated to delicious desserts and beverages while enjoying musical performances by youth group students and parents.
This event serves as a fundraiser for youth group activities including their yearly mission trip. More information about the Holy Family Youth Group can be obtained by emailing Youth Director Marty Blake.

Celebration of Ministry: The Reverend Michael Galvin

On Sunday, January 8, 2017 Holy Family celebrated nearly ten years of ministry with the Reverend Michael Galvin. We shared one worship service together at 10 AM and concluded with a special liturgy to end a pastoral relationship. Following the service, we celebrated the entire Galvin family at a reception held in their honor. Additional photos from the celebration are available by clicking HERE.
In an effort to share as much of this special day with family and friends who could not join us, please enjoy the following videos from different portions of the worship service.

The staff and congregation of Holy Family Episcopal Church wish Father Mike, Rachelle, Kelsey, and Abby Galvin all of God’s blessings as they embark on another new journey together. We will miss you terribly!
